The industry standard stereolithography resin for QuickCast investment casting patterns has, for the last several years, been the DSM Somos 11120 Watershed resin. Somos has now developed and released a new resin, ProtoCast AF 19120, the industry's first completely antimony free stereolithography resin and the first developed specifically for investment casting applications. The new resin is designed to provide significantly less ash than previous resins and eliminate the risk of antimony contamination.
