Experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Block of R.K. (P.G.) College, Shamli (Prabuddhanagar), Uttar Praesh 247776, India, during rainy season of2006 and 2007 with twelve treatments consisted of recommended NPK (20 kg N, 60 kg P_2O_5 and 40 kg K_2O/ha), half of recommended NPK, Biozyme granule @ 20,30, and 40 kg/ha alone and along with half of recommended NPK and Biozyme crop* spray @200 and 400 ml/ha alone and along with half of recommended NPK. Application of Biozyme granule or Biozyme crop+spray with half of recommended NPK had significant favorable effect on number of trifoliate leaves, leaf area, leaf area index, total chlorophyll content, yield parameters viz., branches/plant, pods/plant, seeds/pod, seeds/plant, seed yield/plant and soybean yield. At 60 DAS highest number, of trifoliate leaves (28.13 leaves/plant), leaf area (1814.21 cm2/plant), LAI (5.9451 and total chlorophyll content (1.99 mg/g leaf fresh weight) was noticed with Biozyme crop* spray @ 400ml/ha + half of recommendedNPK, which resulted around 3.57, 2.97, 3.17 and 16.13% higlier value of trifoliate leaves, leaf area, LAI and total chlorophyll content, respectively over recommended NPK. The plots receiving 400 ml Biozyme crop+ spray/ha + half of recommended NPK maintained, 9.01, 6.27,5.41,12.91 and 3.42% higher branches/plant, pods/plant, seeds/pod and seed yield/plant, respectively over recommended NPK. Biozyme crop+spray 400 ml/ha, done with half of recommended NPK increased the seed yield by 8.54 %, straw yield by26.43 % and biological yield by 17.13% over the recommended NPK. Biozyme crop spray done with half of recommended NPK resulted a additional net return of f 4934.00/ha over recommended NPK. The profit incurred under 400 ml Biozyme crop~+ spray~ + half ofrecommended NPK was 17.04% higher than the recommended NPK The yields under the sole treatments of Biozyme were comparable to half of recommended NPK.
