Just over a year ago, Michael Barnett, Joseph Capitani, Carol Deakyne, Michelle Francl, James Harrison and Joel Liebman found that they had all been planning to "do something" for Lee and joined forces. The production of this issue of the IJQC has been a collective endeavor to honor and show their appreciation for a friend, colleague and in one way or another mentor at various times over the past half century. Our one regret in this project has been the absence of Peter Kollman who was so close to Lee and many of us and who would have contributed so much to this festschrift. [References: 1]
