摘要

Fracture mechanics of piezoelectric materials is extensively investigated in quasi-static. cases. However, the cracked piezoelectric materials under dynamic loads had rarely been discussed, especially for the semi-infinite crack problems. In the present letter, the problem of a semi-infinite crack under anti-plane mechanical impact in a piezoelectric material is studied and closed form solutions have been obtained both for the intensities of stress and electrical displacement. The influence of piezoelectricity on the dynamic stress intensity factor is calculated. [References: 4]
