摘要

This paper presents a family of active zero state pulsewidth modulation (AZSPWM) algorithms for vector controlled induction motor drives for reduced common mode voltage variations. As the zero voltage vectors gives large common mode voltage variations, the proposed algorithms did not use the zero voltage vectors. In the proposed algorithms, in order to effectively create a zero-voltage vector, two opposite active voltage vectors are used with equal time durations. To validate the proposed AZSPWM algorithms, numerical simulation studies have been carried out on vector controlled induction motor drive and the results are presented. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed PWM algorithms.
