摘要

The OPBUFBG (Oil Palm Biomass Updraft Fluidized Bed Gasifier) gasification equipment is an innovative gasifier to produce synthesis gas (synn gas) from oil palm biomass fibres and shells. The design of the gasifier and the use of combination of ratio fibre and shell give a high calorific value of 8.7 MJ/Nm~3 synn gas from experiment. This design included with simulation has been studied over four year and a lot of experiments were carried out in the 10kW lab scale. By using silica sand as bed material, air flow 1 m/s, fuel flow rate 20 kg/h was achieved at gasification temperatures 750℃ - 900℃.
