摘要

Severization of requirements to energy performance of buildings leads to necessity of development of new type of thermal insulating materials with a set of important properties. One of such material is foamed glass, which is characterized not only by high thermal insulating properties but also by all advantages of glass materials. This work discusses the influence of various types of foaming agents (organic and inorganic) on expansion capacity of foamed glass. Foamed glass has been expanded by various foaming agents at preset temperatures, the structure of the obtained samples and their properties have been determined. Main features of formation of porous structure of foamed glass have been established at the use of various foaming agents. Optimum type of foaming agent and time-temperature mode of synthesis have been selected. The items, which can be produced on the basis of the developed foamed glasses are described.
