UV-spectroscopy investigated the complexing of mesalamine with uracil derivatives (5-fluorouracil, 6-methyluracil, 5-amino-6-methyluracil, 5-bromo-6-methyluracil, 5-hydroxy-6-methyluracil) in an aqueous medium. The composition of the complex compounds and their stability constants were defined. The temperature dependence of the stability constants and the thermodynamic parameters of complexing were examined within the range of 20 - 44℃. The results obtained demonstrate a similar mechanism of interaction of mesalamine with a number of uracil derivatives under study.
