In many cases of industrial process control such as in chemical industries, the degree of automation is quite low. Also, most of the chemical processes are nonlinear and non-stationary, for example decay of catalyst activity in a reactor where this change leads to deterioration in the performance of the conventional linear controller. In these types of applications where the conventional control strategies cannot provide the desired response up to certain level, the fuzzy logic based control strategies yield better result in such cases. In this paper, the concept of automation and control of the CO_2 filtration process has been established by using fuzzy logic controllers. The Whole plant of Carbon Dioxide filtration process has been divided into four parts and Process Flow Diagram has been designed for each part of the plant in order to implement the fuzzy logic based control scheme. Fuzzy tech tool is used to control the various processes in superheater and boiler unit and amine treating unit of CO_2 filtration plant.
