The warmer months of the year are now upon us. Summer is the time when drivers take to the road en masse every year. It is the season for long drives to vacation spots, scenic cruises on the interstate and the ever-popular "road trip" to destinations unknown. All over the country, drivers are preparing their vehicles for the duties of summer travel. Most automotive service centers now find themselves gearing up for a rush of thermal business. For most non-specialized shops, cooling-system service often means a simple "flush and fill" and nothing more. Unfortunately, in a great many cases, damage may have occurred over the course of the previous winter that can prevent a vehicle's cooling system from functioning properly. Such damage may go unnoticed during cold weather - only to provide major headaches in the warm summer months.
