North West Section; Technical presentation

On 13 October 2010 North West District Section IGEM held a joint meeting with Merseyside and North Wales Section of IMechE. The presenter for the evening was Mark Hewitson of National Grid who gave a presentation of the work involved in the diversion of a high pressure steel pipeline near Glenmavis, Scotland in 2009. Mark's presentation detailed the planning, technical design and environmental aspects of the job.
