Elementis halves UK chromium capacity

Elementis PLC,the parent company of Elementis Chromium and one of the world's leading chromium chemicals producers,has announced major cutbacks at its UK manufacturing site in Eaglescliffe,near Stockton in Teeside.Altogether,the Eaglescliffe capacity will be cut by 50%,and the Elementis global capacity for chromium chemicals production by 25% as a result.
