Bulk Conveyor Specialist develops portable FGD test system

BULK CONVEYOR SPECIALIST Inc. (BCSI) has launched a dry-sorbent, portable flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) test system with injection facilities and Sturtevant Inc. providing the milling technology. The system is made up of three trailers, consisting of grinding facilities, injection blowers and associated electronic controls. The Simpactor mill, a Sturtevant product, is capable of grinding minerals used for dry FGD - including trona-to down to 1 5 microns and thereby increasing surface area and absorbency rates.
