Magnezit begins mining Goluboe magnesite deposit

Jt.St.Co. kombinat Magnezit (Satka, Chelyabionsk oblast, Russia) has commenced mining at the Goluboe magnesite deposit in Krasnoyarsk krai. In accordance with the regulations of the tender, Magnezit has already established a daughter company, Jt.St.Co. Siberian Magnesite, and approved a work schedule and investment programme. The operation will provide high-grade periclase, which will displace imports of Chinese material, and will also result in a decrease in the volume of other magnesite grades mined at the Satka deposit.
