Monto Minerals 'hanging by a thread'

THE FUTURE OF Monto Minerals Ltd, the new Australian ilmenite producer, has been described a "hanging by a thread", following the news that the company has issued more than 48m. shares to raise 4.97 million Australia dollars (4.76 million dollars) in cash. The cash injection is needed to continue its Goondicum ilmenite operation in central Queensland for the next three months which has been recently dogged by problems.
