SPAIN BASED MINERALS producer, Minerales y Productos Derivados SA (Minersa), has replaced Industries Chimiques du Fluor (ICF) of Tunisia as the majority shareholder of hydrofluoric acid and aluminium fluoride producer, Alfluorco (Ply) Ltd. Alfluorco is a joint venture formed by Metorex Ltd, headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, and its partners to utilise the fluorspar produced from the Vergenoeg mine, north South Africa.
