St Lawrence fluorspar aims to reopen

CANADIAN COMPANIES, BURIN Fluorspar Ltd and Rivera Capital Corp. have signed a merger agreement which is expected to be the first step in reactivating the St Lawrence fluorspar mine on the Burin Peninsula, south-east Newfoundland. Burin has already raised 6 million dollars. for a drilling programme and feasibility study to determine if the mine is worth opening or not.
