CUMI tekes control of Foskor Zirconia

SOUTH AFRICAN PHOSPHATE producer, Foskor (Ply) Ltd, has "diluted" its fused zirconia division and agreed that Carborundum Universal Ltd (CUMI), part of India based Murugappa Group, will take a majority stake in the newly created company, Foskor Zirconia (Pty) Ltd (FZL). FZL expects the deal to bring the investment and experience necessary to expand production capacity and product range, aiming to double turnover in three years and install new equipment at its production plant.
