INDIA'S LEADING TALC producer, Golcha Group has revealed to IM its plans to significantly increase talc production in India and Thailand, and establish a new talc production base in Europe. The Rajasthan based group plans to increase its domestic talc production by over 100,000 tpa for 2009. The group is by far India's largest producer with a present 300,000 tpa output, followed by Golcha Associated Group with 160,000 tpa capacity, and Jai Group with 100,000 tpa production (see later).
