摘要

Organic cultivation is a very important aspect of tea cultivation in recent times. Bringing up of young plant is a challenge in bio-organic cultivation.To study the growth of young tea plants with the treatment of Azotobacter and Azospirilium vis-a-vis traditional organic manures, a field trial was conducted at Azamabad TE in the Terai Region of West Bengal. The interactions of plant and nitrogen fixation Bacteria was studied under particular edaphic and climatic conditions. A comparative effect of both Azotobacter and Azospirillium on young tea is also understood on this area.Result shows that single application of Azopirillum is not effective, but single application of Azotobacter is found effective. Both Azotobacter and Azospirilium showing goodresult in combination with cow dung. Best result is obtained from Azospirilium in combination with 1 kg of well dried cow dung in term of health etc.
