Low Production to keep Rubber Prices Buoyant

Natural rubber prices are expected to stay firm in Thailand and Malaysia for the time being,helped by tight supplies,but weak demand could further depress the market in India,according to dealers.Wintering,which causes rubber trees to shed their leaves and produce about 30 per cent less latex than usual,is fast affecting yields in top producing country Thailand.
