摘要

Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) is one of the nutritious and popular vegetables grown in India. Tomato wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Sacc) Snyderand Hansen, is a potential threat to tomato cultivation (1, 4). The pathogenremains viable in soil for several months. Tomato is widely grown in upland tracts of India by resource poor farmers and chemical control of the disease is very costly. Biological control is an eco-friendly preposition which can considerably minimize the disease. Potential of Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens and oil cakes against soil borne diseases of many crops have been reported (1, 5, 6, 8). The present paper reports the management of tomato wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici by using bioagents and organic amendments.
