The fastest versions of Aston Martin's long-awaited DB9 replacement will be powered by a new, twin-turbocharged version of the existing AM28 5.9-litre V12 engine. Despite the company's close collaboration with Mercedes, its flagship car - currently dubbed DB11 - will inherit this updated engine, which is made at a Ford facility in Cologne for the British company.
