THE A4 ALLROAD will slot into Audi's UK line-up between the A4 Avant quattro and Q5. As with the more expensive A6 Allroad, it's a clever remake of the standard Avant; the panels remain untouched but the grille and bumpers have been reworked. Cladding over the wheel arches and more prominent roof rails complete the look. Inside, the cabin is up to Audi's peerless standard: good-looking, superbly laid out and high on quality. Shiny sill plates, special cloth seat upholstery and porous wood applications differentiate it from the standard A4 Avant.
