PLANT PARASITIC NEMATODES, A SERIOUS THREAT TO MULBERRY-A REVIEW

Phytonematodes affecting mulberry are considered to be a serious threat to sericulture industry. However, the work undertaken on the management of mulberry nematodes is neither adequate nor proportionate to the increasing area of mulberry cultivationand its ultimate economic yield loss due to nematodes. Hence a review of work carried out on mulberry nematode management may throw some light on the future strategies. Research work undertaken on mulberry nematode management is discussed under differentcomponents of integrated nematode management.
