Optimum design of contour bunds: a case study of Navamota watershed (Gujarat).

摘要

The performance of contour bunds in Navamota watershed in Gujarat, India, was evaluated. Based on 16 years rainfall data collected at the watershed, a design criteria for contour bunds has been suggested, which can be used in surrounding areas. Thecriteria is based on performance in the field and economizes the size of bunds.
