NEED FOR RESTORING GROWTH IN FERTILISER PRODUCTION

摘要

PRODUCTION OF FERTILISERS HAS suffered during the last 5-6 years.The production of nitrogenous fertiliser was stagnant for 3 years starting with 2004-05.It witnessed a decline of 5.4% during 2007-08.The production data of the first 6 months of the current year shows that the production of nitrogen during whole of 2008-09 is likely to remain stagnant at the level achieved last year.
