Role of Credit in Increasing Use of Agriculture Inputs

Credit is a key input in enhancing the use of various inputs like seeds, fertilisers, plant protection materials etc. to improve agricultural productivity. Role of credit in agriculture development, agricultural credit policy, major issues affecting agricultural credit namely Mas towards big farmers, high transaction cost, way forward, etc. have been discussed in this paper.
