The production of N at 1.093 million. tonnes showed marginal increase of 0.1% and P2O5 at 0.349 million tonnes registered a decline of 10% during August 2012 over August 2011. Among the major fertiliser products, the production of Urea increased by 2.5%, while the production of DAP and NP/NPK complex fertilisers declined by 13.1% and 7.8%, respectively, during August 2012 over August 2011. Production of N and P2O5 fell short by 75.2 and 64.3 thousand tonnes, from their respective targets during August 2012. The capacity utilisation of N almost remained unchanged at the previous year level of 106%, while P2O5 reduced from 75.5% during August 2011 to 68.1% during August 2012. P104
