Control Systems Upgradation IFFCO Aonla Experience

The Steam and Power Generation plant of IFFCO, Aonla was the first plant of Aonla Complex to be commissioned in 1987. The control system consisted of Yokogawa, Japan make stand alone panel mounted controllers (YS-80 series) along with CENTUM -V Data Acquisition System (DAS). Burner Management System consisted of Omron PLC. The Utilities Plants like DM Plant had old version PLC based systems. Similarly ammonia storage plant had stand-alone pneumatic controllers with Omron PLC based safety interlocks.
