Chartering of Fertiliser Vessels in India - Key Parameters

The subject deals with the major issues to be incorporated in the Charter Party while chartering vessels for carrying the fertiliser with special reference to Indian ports.Type of vessels,LOA,Beam etc.are the main features that need to be matched with the port facilities.Load/Discharge rate is one of the important factors in determining the freight and,demurrage / despatch rates.A number of other issues relating to chartering have also been highlighted in the paper.
