SESSION-I: Policies to Ensure Fertiliser Security

The Session was chaired by Mr. Atui Cbaturvedi, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, New Delhi. Mr. A. C. Bubey, Chief Economist, FAI, New Delhi acted as Rapporteur. Three papers were presented in the session viz., (i) 'Global Supply-Demand Scenario of Fertilisers and Raw Materials' by Mr. Luc M. Maene, Director General, International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA), France; (ii) 'Updates on Recent Policy Initiatives and Industry Expectations' by Mr. V. S. Jna, Chairman & Managing Director, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Limited, Mumbai; and (Hi)'International Price Trends for Fertilisers and Raw Materials' by Mr. Kapil Mehan, Executive Director, Tata Chemicals Limited, NOIDA.
