This session was chaired by Mr. T. Nanda Kumar, Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi. Dr. S.V. Kaore, Deputy General Manager (AS), IFFCO, New Delhi acted as Rapporteur. Four papers were presented in the session viz., (i) "Nutrient Management and Soil Health" by Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Deputy Director General (NRM), ICAR, New Delhi; (ii) "Enrichment of Fertilisers with Zinc: An Excellent Investment for Humanity and Crop Production in India" by Dr. Ismail Cakmak, Professor, Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey; (iii) "Sulphur - Essential to the Fertiliser Industry as Raw Material and Plant Nutrient" by Ms. Catherine Randazzo, President and CEO, The Sulphur Institute, USA; and (iv) "Enhancing Fertiliser Use Efficiency" by Dr. Milkha S. Aulakh, Additional Director Research, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
