Adoption of technology to enhance performance in the supply chain is not slowing, and voice directed working in the UK's warehouses appears to have reached a critical mass - according to James Hannay, VP of UK, Ireland and Nordics for Zetes and an expert in voice integration. Just a year and half ago, no-one could have predicted the onset of a recession on the scale we are currently facing. Amongst other things, the current climate has brought with it two very interesting technological developments. Firstly, regardless of what industry pundits are predicting, adoption of technology to enhance performance in the supply chain is not slowing. If anything, it's accelerating, as manufacturers of all sizes seek further efficiency, productivity and service improvements. And very often, it's the supply chain which is in most need of transformation, and which delivers the fastest investment returns.
