DETROIT - Since they arrived nearly a decade ago, General Motors' big crossovers - the GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave - have served as de facto minivans for image-conscious buyers who needed lots of room. But that differentiating factor shrinks - literally and considerably - on the 2017 Acadia, a clean-sheet redesign unveiled at the auto show here last week and slated to hit showrooms this spring.
