QA/QC is becoming fairly common on the sampling and assaying process, but QA/QC is almost non-existent when it comes to the geological interpretation. No mineral resource estimate will be realistic if the geology of the economic commodity concentration is not adequately appreciated. Consequently, no mineral resource estimate should be accepted as realistic if it has not been validated. Unfortunately, the majority of the mining industry does not demonstrate any great attention to validating mineral resource estimates.
