The new Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal integrates all engineering systems for controller and distributed I/O, the configuration of HMI and SCADA, and the parameterization of drives into a common engineering framework. The TIA Portal has a uniform operating concept with common services for all automation tasks. The advantages are faster engineering and consistent solutions that simplify the diagnosis in ongoing operation and can be changed or added to easily.
