Grap'Sud:The rich resources of the grape

This specialist in grape and olive derivatives has expanded rapidly in the past few years, and now has eight production sites. In three years the company has grown from one production site to six in France and two in other countries, with strong development in grape-derived products," reports Nathalie Félix, export marketing director of Grap'Sud (see box story p. 102). The company processes 100,000 tons of marc and more than 50 million liters of grape must each year in France and Spain. It posted a turnover of eur45m for the 2006-2007 fiscal year and employs 140 people in France. Its subsidiary INOsud markets grape juice concentrates, generating a turnover of eur 14.5m. One-fifth of Grap'Sud's sales are in export.
