Japanese List set to create food safety trend

In May the last piece of the puzzle fell into place for the Japanese Government when it established a program to protect public health that banned distributing foods that contain chemical residues over certain levels. The "Positive List of Maximum Residue Limits for Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals" means Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for all agricultural chemicals are regulated.
