NOW that the Federal election dust has settled and the pollies are busy working through the teething problems in their new roles, it's time for a bit of a look at the ramifications of March 2. The first outcome was that Paul Keating's Labor Government was buried in a landslide that saw Labor virtually banished from the bush. It fared little better in the cities and now holds few seats outside the Sydney-Melbourne-Canberra triangle.
