FEW changes were made in projected US supply and demand balances for wheat, feedgrains and oilseeds in the March World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) compared to the February report. But some important adjustments were made in foreign crop supply-demand projections that indicate rationing of crop usage on the one hand, and some improvement in foreign crop prospects on the other. The USDA lowered projected 2010-11 US wheat exports to 34.7 million tonnes (mt), due to more world export competition and a slower than expected export pace.
