Strong roots Carleton County Spring Show and Sale a grand success

In Carleton County, New Brunswick, April usually brings rain and the Carleton County Spring Show and Sale. This year, Mother Nature blessed us with snow on Easter Sunday as exhibitors were busy getting their animals ready for the 59th Show and Sale, held at the Carleton Co-op show barns in Florenceville-Bristol, N.B., on April 10-11. The judge for the 2012 Show and Sale was Allan Crogie from Ontario. This was his third trip to New Brunswick to judge our show. He only had 35 steers to judge, but he had his work cut out for him as he had to choose seven Breed Champions, a 4-H Champion, and a Grand Champion.
