Bunjin-The NON-Style of the Erudite, An Article from the FUJI KYOOKAI BONSAI IN SPAIN BY JUAN VALLEJO Under The Supervision of MASSIMO BANDERA & Translated by Ada Galindo, USA
Bunjin in Japanese means "men of art and literature." Bunjin bonsai, in its most correct meaning, is bonsai most appreciated by the bunjin and must therefore not be considered an authentic style but more like a method of making bonsai. This is why wehave titled our article "Bunjin-The NON-Style of the Erudite," even though in we will include a discussion of "style," - of creating a bonsai in this classification in a practical way and another more spiritual, like a way of doing and a way of living.
