摘要

An efficient synthetic protocol was developed for the formation of tetracyclic tetrahydro--carbolines using a p-toluenesulfonic acid-mediated reaction of -enaminones and acetylenedicarboxylates. Highly functionalised tetracyclic tetrahydro--carboline derivatives were synthesised under one-pot reaction conditions, in which two C-C and one C-N bonds were sequentially formed.
