IAL BOOSTS NET PROFIT 577%

3 June.Indian Acrylics Ltd (IAL) has boosted its net profit by 577% to Rs352m (US8.04m) in the financial year that ended 31 March 2005,up from Rs52m in the previous year,the company has announced.The jump was triggered by a robust growth in sales owing mainly to exports,an increase in investment-related other income and a decline in interest paid on loans.Net sales were 10.69% higher at Rs2.844bn.Operating profit shot up by 77.14% to Rs634.9m.
