Maoming Petchem may build PVC plant

Maoming petrochemical is considering building a 300 000 tonne/year PVC plant in Maoming, Guangdong, China, a source close to the Sinopec subsidiary told ACN last week. The project may also be back-integrated to include vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and ethylene dichloride (EDC) production.
