DEGUSSA AND LANXING IN DEAL TO BUILD SULPHUR-FUNCTIONAL SILANES UNIT

Degussa has signed an agreement with Rizhao Lanxing Chemical Industry Co of China to build a sulphur-functional silanes plant It will own a 50% stake in the joint venture,Lanxing 40%,and an unnamed financial investor the remaining 10%.The joint venture will be known as Degussa Lanxing (Rizhao) Chemical Industrial Co once all relevant approvals have been received.
