Markets strengthen,despite a drop in demand for rubber,as traders build up stocks ahead of the Lunar New Year holidays.Ethylene is up on tight supply.Naphtha:The MoPJ fell to USUS420.75-423.75/tonne cfr Japan from USUS432-435/tonne cfr Japan a week earlier after rising for three consecutive weeks,partly because of weaker crude values.The weaker prices were also attributed to the downward price correction after a sharp increase in the previous week.The contango between 2H March and 2H April open-spec contracts widened slightly to USUS5/tonne after contracting to about USUS4/tonne the previous week.
