Nicholas Piramal India(NPI)has acquired the rights to Eli Lilly's Dobutrex brand of ardiac stimulants in India,an NPI source told ACN.The generic nmae of the drug is Dobutamine.The source would not reveal exactly how much NPI paid US-based EliLilly for the brand rights,except to say it was less than Dobutrex's Indian sales of Rs63.4m in 2003.
