Companies based in the United Arab Emirates are continuing to invest heavily in Algeria.Mubadala Development Company of Abu Dhabi and Dubai Aluminium Company (Dubai) are teaming up with Sonatrach and Sonelgaz to develop an aluminum production complex in the industrial zone of Beni-Saf.The export-oriented complex will have the capacity to produce some 700,000 tons/year of primary aluminum and is expected to cost 5 billion.
